514PASS
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Agreement to the Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of 514PASS ("514PASS," "we," "us," or "our") — the website, platform, and related features at this domain. By creating an account, browsing the platform, or otherwise using 514PASS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use 514PASS.
514PASS is currently in beta. Features and workflows described below may change as the platform evolves — see Section 26 ("Changes to These Terms").
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirement (18+)
514PASS is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, publish content, purchase a PASS, or otherwise use 514PASS, regardless of the age of majority where you live.
By using 514PASS, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
We do not currently operate an automated age-verification system for member accounts. We rely on the representation above, on creator identity verification (Section 5), and on reports from users, to help enforce this requirement. If 514PASS becomes aware that a user may not meet the minimum-age requirement, we may review the information available to us and take appropriate action to the extent supported by our systems and required by applicable law, including restricting access or suspending or terminating an account where available.
For more detail on age and eligibility rules, see our Age & Eligibility Policy.
3. 514PASS Accounts
An account is required to use most of 514PASS. You create an account with an email address and password managed through our authentication provider. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account, and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
There are currently two account types on 514PASS: member accounts (Section 4) and creator accounts (Section 5).
4. Member Accounts
A member account lets you discover creators, follow creators for free, like, save and comment on posts, message other users, watch LIVE streams, purchase a creator's PASS to unlock that creator's PASS-only content, and, where available, unlock Private Media or send LIVE tips (Sections 9 and 15).
Member accounts do not have a public profile page (see Section 6). You may add an optional profile photo.
5. Creator Accounts and Verification
To publish content and receive PASS purchases, you must apply to become a creator and be approved through 514PASS's creator verification process.
Creator verification currently requires submitting a government-issued photo ID (driver's licence, health card, passport, or other government-issued photo ID) for review. Identity documents are stored in a private, access-controlled location and reviewed by authorized 514PASS staff; they are never shown on your public profile. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how this information is handled.
By applying to become a creator, you confirm that the identity information and documents you submit are accurate and belong to you, that you meet the eligibility requirements in Section 2, and that you will only publish content involving real people who are themselves adults and who have consented to appear in it. You must never upload content involving minors, and you must never misrepresent the identity or age of anyone appearing in your content.
We review creator applications and may approve or reject them at our discretion. Approval is not guaranteed, and we may request additional information before approving an application.
A creator account that is not in active status (for example, a suspended account) can lose access to Creator Studio and creator-only features until the status is resolved.
6. Public Profiles
For creator accounts, certain information is public and visible to any visitor, including on the Discover page and the creator's profile page: display name, username, city, profile photo, cover photo, bio, verified status, and PASS price.
Member accounts do not have a public profile page. However, when you comment on a post, chat in a LIVE, or send a message, other users who can see that interaction can see your username, your profile photo (if any), and the badges attached to your account (for example, PASS member or BTC Supporter).
7. User Content and License
"User Content" means anything you upload, publish, or send through 514PASS — including posts, photos, video, your bio, profile and cover images, and messages.
You retain ownership of the User Content you own. By uploading or publishing User Content on 514PASS, you grant 514PASS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and deliver that content as reasonably necessary to operate the platform and provide the features you use — for example, showing your posts to members who follow you or hold your PASS, and technically processing your content for storage and delivery. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except to the extent a copy needs to persist for a limited time for technical, legal, or safety reasons (for example, backups, or content involved in an open report).
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary for any content you upload — including the right to publish it, and, where the content depicts another identifiable person, that person's consent to appear in it. You must not upload content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights, or that you are not authorized to publish.
514PASS does not claim ownership of your User Content, and publishing content on 514PASS does not mean 514PASS endorses it.
8. Free and PASS-Only Content
Creators choose whether each post is free (visible to any visitor or follower) or PASS-only (visible only to members holding an active PASS for that creator — see Section 9). 514PASS's systems enforce this distinction at the platform level; creators are responsible for correctly marking content as free or PASS-only.
9. PASS Purchases and Other Paid Features
A creator's "PASS" is a paid, active-status unlock of that creator's PASS-only content on 514PASS. Purchasing a PASS gives you access to view that creator's PASS-only content on the platform for as long as your PASS remains active — it does not transfer ownership, copyright, or any other right in the creator's content to you. You may not download, redistribute, resell, or otherwise use PASS-only content outside of viewing it on 514PASS as intended.
Each creator sets their own PASS price from a fixed set of price points supported by the platform.
A PASS purchase creates a pending PASS and a linked pending payment; the PASS becomes active only once the payment is confirmed as described in Section 10.
A PASS currently gives one month of access starting when the payment is confirmed. A PASS is not a recurring subscription: it does not renew automatically, and nothing is charged automatically. When a PASS expires, access to that creator's PASS-only content ends unless you purchase a new PASS.
514PASS also currently offers the following paid features, which use the same manual payment process (Section 10):
- Private Media — a creator may send a locked photo (and, where this feature is enabled, a locked video) in a conversation, at a price the creator sets within the limits shown in the app. Paying the price unlocks that specific item for you in that conversation once the payment is confirmed. An unlock gives you viewing access on 514PASS only; it does not transfer any right in the content.
- LIVE tips — while a creator is live, you may send a tip of an amount you choose within the limits shown in the app. A tip is a voluntary payment to support the creator; it does not purchase any content or service. A tip appears in the LIVE only after the payment is confirmed, and you may choose to remain anonymous in the LIVE.
10. Beta Payment Process (Interac e-Transfer and Bitcoin)
514PASS is currently in a beta payment stage. Every payment — for a PASS, Private Media, or a LIVE tip — is made manually by you and verified manually by 514PASS. The payment methods currently supported are:
- Interac e-Transfer (in CAD) — you send an Interac e-Transfer for the exact amount shown, to the 514PASS Interac email address you selected at checkout, and you enter the exact payment reference provided in the Interac message field.
- Bitcoin (BTC), on-chain, Bitcoin mainnet only — the BTC amount is calculated from a CAD/BTC rate when you continue and is then fixed for that payment. You must send at least that exact BTC amount to the address shown, network fees are paid by you on top, and you submit the transaction ID (TXID) in 514PASS. Bitcoin may be subject to a minimum amount shown in the app.
514PASS does not currently process credit or debit card payments, and does not collect or store your banking credentials or your Bitcoin wallet keys.
Payments are matched and confirmed manually by our team — there is no automated, instant confirmation, and confirmation times can vary. 514PASS may confirm a payment, or reject it if it cannot be verified. Your PASS, Private Media unlock, or LIVE tip is not active until your payment is confirmed.
You are responsible for sending the correct amount, to the correct destination, with the correct payment reference (Interac) or the correct TXID (Bitcoin). A payment sent without the correct reference, for the wrong amount, to the wrong address, or on the wrong network may be delayed, unmatched, rejected, or impossible to recover. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and are recorded on a public blockchain.
You may cancel a pending payment in 514PASS before it is confirmed. Cancelling only closes the pending request in 514PASS — it does not recall a transfer you have already sent. If you already sent funds, contact us at [email protected] (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
Members whose Bitcoin payments are confirmed may receive BTC Supporter points and badges. These points and badges are a recognition feature only: they have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for money, and may be adjusted, hidden, or corrected by 514PASS (for example, after a refund).
11. Platform Fees and Creator Earnings
When a payment for a PASS, Private Media, or a LIVE tip is confirmed, 514PASS currently retains a platform commission of 20% of the confirmed amount, and credits the remaining 80% to the creator's earnings. Confirmed earnings are added to the creator's available balance when the payment is confirmed.
These percentages apply to the base, confirmed transaction and are separate from the Express payout fee described in Section 13.
12. Creator Payouts — Standard
Creators may request a payout of their available earnings by Interac e-Transfer to an Interac e-Transfer email address they provide. 514PASS currently offers two payout speeds: Standard and Express (Section 13).
A Standard payout has no additional payout fee — the creator receives the full requested amount.
When a creator starts a Standard payout, the requested funds are reserved and a 72-hour waiting period begins, tracked on our servers. The countdown reaching zero does not transfer the funds automatically — once eligible, the creator must click "Request transfer" to move the payout to actionable status, after which our team manually processes the Interac transfer.
13. Creator Payouts — Express
Instead of waiting for a Standard payout, a creator may choose Express, or may switch an eligible, still-waiting Standard payout to Express. Switching to Express does not create a second claim on the same funds — it modifies the existing payout request.
Choosing Express results in an additional fee: 514PASS retains an additional 5 percentage points of the original gross transaction (6.25% of the amount paid out), bringing 514PASS's total share of that original transaction to 25%, with the creator receiving 75%. For example, on $100 of gross revenue: $20 is 514PASS's base platform commission, leaving an $80 creator balance; a $5 Express fee is then deducted from that balance, so the creator receives $75, and 514PASS retains $25 in total.
An Express payout is usually processed within approximately 30 minutes of becoming actionable. This is a typical processing goal, not a guarantee, and actual processing time can vary. Express payouts are not instant.
14. Cancellations, Rejections and Completed Payouts
A Standard payout may be cancelled by the creator while it is still waiting on its 72-hour countdown and before "Request transfer" has been clicked; cancelling releases the reserved funds back to the creator's available balance.
Once a payout has moved to actionable status — whether a Standard payout after "Request transfer" is clicked, or any Express payout — the creator can no longer cancel it. At that stage, our admin team may reject the payout (for example, if the destination information cannot be verified), which releases the reserved funds back to the creator's available balance.
Once a payout has been marked paid, it is final from a payout-processing perspective.
514PASS does not currently operate an automated refund system for PASS, Private Media, or LIVE tip payments. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and remain subject to applicable law. For more information, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
15. Messages, Comments, LIVE and User Interactions
514PASS's messaging feature lets you exchange direct messages with other users, including text and, where enabled for your account, photos, videos, and Private Media. You can reply to messages, and edit or delete your own text messages; a deleted message is shown as deleted to the other participant. Messages are only visible to the participants in that conversation and, where necessary, to our team when handling a report or a platform-safety issue.
Members can comment on posts they can access. Comments are visible to other users who can see that post. Authors can delete their own comments, and creators and 514PASS staff may remove comments, within the limits of our current tools.
Approved, verified creators with an active account can go LIVE. Signed-in users can watch a LIVE, send messages in its chat, send hearts, and send tips. LIVE chat messages are visible to everyone watching. The creator and 514PASS staff may remove chat messages. 514PASS does not currently record or store the video of LIVE streams; you must not record, capture, or redistribute a LIVE without the creator's authorization.
You can block a user from the conversation menu, which stops them from messaging you, and you can report a user from the same menu. Official 514PASS staff accounts (Admin and Support) cannot be blocked or reported through these in-app tools; concerns about a staff account can be sent to [email protected].
You are responsible for your own conduct in messages, comments, and LIVE chats, just as everywhere else on the platform — see Section 16 (Prohibited Conduct).
16. Prohibited Conduct
In connection with 514PASS, you must not:
- use 514PASS if you are under 18, or otherwise do not meet the eligibility requirements in Section 2
- upload, publish, or send content involving minors
- upload illegal content, or content you do not have the rights or authorization to publish
- impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity, age, or authorization to act on someone's behalf
- attempt to access another user's account, or 514PASS's systems, without authorization
- harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable PASS access controls
- copy, download, or redistribute another creator's PASS-only content outside of 514PASS without authorization
- record, capture, or redistribute a LIVE stream or Private Media without the creator's authorization
- misuse 514PASS's blocking or reporting tools, for example by submitting false or abusive reports
- introduce malicious code, or attempt to interfere with or compromise the security or operation of 514PASS
- abuse 514PASS's payment or payout systems, including submitting a fraudulent payment or attempting to manipulate a transaction
- dispute or reverse a legitimate charge or payout in bad faith
- infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights
For more detailed content and conduct rules, see our Acceptable Content Policy.
17. Reports, Moderation and Enforcement
If you believe a user or piece of content violates these Terms, you can report the user from the conversation menu in Messages, or contact us at [email protected] (for content, comments, LIVE, or Private Media, email is currently the main channel). 514PASS reviews reports it receives and may, at its discretion, remove or restrict content, restrict platform features, or suspend or terminate an account as a result — see Section 18.
We do not proactively review all content before it is published, and we cannot guarantee that every report will be resolved within a specific timeframe. Acting on a report, or not acting on it, is not an admission or determination of any particular outcome.
18. Account Suspension and Termination
514PASS may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict your access to specific features, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited conduct, provided false information (including during creator verification), or created risk for 514PASS, other users, or third parties.
A suspension may be temporary — in that case, access returns automatically when the suspension period ends — or an account may be permanently banned. While an account is suspended or banned, access to 514PASS features is restricted.
You may stop using 514PASS at any time. If you wish to close your account, contact us at [email protected]. Closing your account does not resolve or cancel an in-progress payout, pending payment, or open report — those continue to be governed by the sections that already apply to them.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Section 7 (User Content license, to the extent already granted), Section 9 (PASS Purchases), Section 14 (for payouts already resolved), Section 19 (Intellectual Property), Sections 22–24 (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification), and Section 25 (Applicable Law) — survive account closure or termination.
19. Intellectual Property and 514PASS Branding
Other than User Content (Section 7), the 514PASS platform — including its design, layout, graphics, software, and the "514PASS" name and logo — is owned by or licensed to 514PASS and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the platform itself, or use the 514PASS name or branding, without our prior written permission.
20. Third-Party Services
514PASS relies on third-party service providers to operate the platform. We currently use Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage, Netlify for hosting, and LiveKit for real-time LIVE video delivery. Push notifications, if you enable them, are delivered through your browser's or device's push service. Use of 514PASS may therefore also be subject to the operation of those providers' infrastructure, which is outside our direct control. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Interac e-Transfers are made through your own financial institution, and Bitcoin payments through your own wallet and the Bitcoin network; 514PASS does not operate these services. Links to external services (for example, our Telegram community) are governed by those services' own terms.
21. Availability and Changes to the Service
514PASS is provided on an evolving, beta basis. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features (including payment and payout workflows) at any time, and we do not guarantee that the platform, or any specific feature, will be available at all times or without interruption.
Some features (for example, videos in messages or paid Private Media videos) may be enabled progressively and may not be available to every account at a given time. Features that are not yet available on 514PASS are not part of the service until we make them available.
22. Disclaimers
514PASS is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law — including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee any particular level of earnings, audience, or revenue for creators. Content on 514PASS is created and published by users, not 514PASS, and publication of content does not mean 514PASS endorses it.
Nothing in this section limits any right or protection you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 514PASS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of 514PASS.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 514PASS's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or 514PASS will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to 514PASS in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) CAD $100.
This section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
24. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold 514PASS harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of 514PASS, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or of another person's rights.
25. Applicable Law
514PASS currently operates from Québec, Canada, and is Montréal-first in focus. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms limits or removes any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection or privacy law that cannot be waived by agreement, including under Québec or Canadian federal law. Where a provision of these Terms would conflict with such a mandatory right, the mandatory right applies.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as 514PASS evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to bring it to your attention within the platform. Continuing to use 514PASS after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Where applicable consumer-protection law requires it (including in Québec), we will send you written notice of the new or amended clause, and the clause as it read before, at least 30 days before the change takes effect; you may then refuse the change and close your account at no cost.
27. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to 514PASS at [email protected].
