514PASS
Copyright & Content Removal Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Introduction
This Copyright & Content Removal Policy explains how content ownership works on 514PASS, how someone can submit a copyright complaint or request review of content, and how 514PASS may respond. It supplements — and does not replace — our Terms of Service.
For creators, this Policy should be read together with our Creator Terms.
This Policy also works together with our Acceptable Content Policy, which sets out broader content and conduct rules.
514PASS is currently Montréal/Québec-focused. 514PASS currently uses a manual review process for copyright complaints and content removal requests — see Section 17.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to Creator Content, posts and post media, Private Media, photos and videos sent in messages, LIVE streams, comments, profile information (including avatars and cover images), and any other content uploaded to, sent through, or published on 514PASS.
It covers two related but different situations: (a) a copyright complaint from someone who believes content infringes their copyright, and (b) a content removal request from someone who appears in content, or whose personal information appears in content, and has a consent, privacy, or safety concern. Section 9 explains the difference.
3. Ownership of Content
Users and creators retain ownership of the content they own. Uploading or publishing content on 514PASS does not transfer copyright ownership of that content to 514PASS.
As described in our Terms of Service, publishing content on 514PASS grants 514PASS a limited operational license to host, store, reproduce, display, and deliver that content as reasonably necessary to operate the platform.
For creators, this same license is also described in our Creator Terms. This Policy does not expand or restate that license — see those Terms for its exact scope.
4. Your Responsibility for What You Upload
You may only upload or publish content that you own, created, are licensed to use, or otherwise have sufficient rights and authorization to publish. This applies to photos, videos, profile images, cover images, post media, and any other content you upload to 514PASS.
If you are not sure you have the rights necessary to publish something, do not upload it.
5. Unauthorized / Stolen Content
You must not:
- copy another creator's content without authorization
- repost stolen content
- download and re-upload another creator's content without authorization
- present another person's content as your own
- remove another creator's watermark or attribution and present their work as your own
- publish content obtained from another platform without the rights necessary to do so
This does not assume every repost is automatically unlawful — authorization or licensing may exist. See Section 15 for how 514PASS reviews a complaint.
For broader content rules, see our Acceptable Content Policy.
6. PASS Content, Private Media, LIVE and Copyright
Purchasing or accessing a creator's PASS, or unlocking a creator's Private Media, gives you access to that content on 514PASS according to our Terms of Service. It does not transfer copyright ownership of that content to you.
Holding a PASS, unlocking Private Media, or watching a LIVE does not, by itself, grant permission to record, redistribute, repost, sell, publicly publish, or commercially exploit a creator's content outside the access actually granted to you.
514PASS does not currently operate digital rights management (DRM) or other technical copy-protection on PASS-only content, Private Media, or LIVE streams (private media is served through short-lived links, which is not copy-protection). This Policy does not claim that screenshots, screen recordings, or downloads by a member who has lawfully accessed content are technically prevented.
7. Copyright Complaints
514PASS does not currently offer a dedicated in-app copyright complaint form. A person who believes content on 514PASS infringes their copyright may submit a copyright complaint by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright / Content Removal Request."
This is currently a manual process. We use terms such as "copyright complaint," "request for review," and "content removal request" rather than a formal statutory term. 514PASS has not adopted a formal statutory takedown procedure and has not registered a copyright or DMCA agent.
8. Information to Include in a Copyright Complaint
To help us review your complaint, please include, where possible:
- your name
- a contact email address
- identification of the copyrighted work
- identification of the allegedly infringing 514PASS content
- the creator's username or profile, where relevant
- a URL or enough information to locate the content
- an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized
- a statement that the information you provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder
We do not require government identification, notarization, or a handwritten signature for an ordinary copyright complaint. A typed name and contact information is enough for the current intake process.
9. Content Removal Requests by People Depicted
Copyright ownership is not the only reason to contact us about content. A person who appears in content, or whose information appears in content, may have a legitimate reason to request review even if they are not the copyright owner.
You may request a review at [email protected] if you:
- appear in content and believe it was posted without your consent
- withdrew consent where legally relevant
- believe private content was shared without authorization
- believe content violates your privacy or safety rights
- believe you were impersonated
- believe content violates our Acceptable Content Policy
See our Acceptable Content Policy for the underlying content rules.
A person depicted in content does not necessarily own the copyright in it. We do not force every depicted-person request into a copyright framework — these requests may instead be reviewed under consent rules, privacy rules, our Acceptable Content Policy, or applicable law.
10. Non-Consensual Intimate Content
514PASS treats reports of non-consensual intimate content as a high-priority category. This includes non-consensual intimate imagery, secretly recorded sexual or intimate content, sexual content published without authorization, threats involving intimate content, and exploitation.
If you report content in this category, 514PASS may review it and take appropriate action where supported by our systems and required by applicable law. We do not promise a specific response time.
For related rules, see our Acceptable Content Policy.
11. Content Involving Minors
Content involving or sexualizing minors in a prohibited context is strictly prohibited on 514PASS. This Policy does not describe such content further.
If such content is reported or discovered, 514PASS may take appropriate action to the extent supported by our current systems and required by applicable law.
This section is consistent with our Acceptable Content Policy.
It is also consistent with our Age & Eligibility Policy.
12. Privacy and Personal Information
Some removal requests concern private or sensitive personal information rather than copyright — for example, government identification, a home address, a private phone number, or banking information appearing in content without authorization.
You may request review of this kind of content at [email protected]. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information generally — this Policy does not duplicate it.
We do not promise deletion of personal information where applicable law or a legitimate retention obligation may require us to retain it.
13. Impersonation and Identity Misuse
You may report content or accounts that impersonate you, misuse your identity, use your image deceptively, or falsely claim authorization to represent you, by contacting [email protected].
Not all use of a person's image is copyright infringement. Depending on the circumstances, an impersonation report may be reviewed under impersonation, privacy, consent, intellectual property, or applicable law.
14. Creator Self-Removal
Creators may remove their own posts at any time using the controls available in Creator Studio, and may change or remove their avatar and cover image from Creator Studio settings. Users can also delete their own comments and their own text messages.
Removing a post or message does not necessarily remove every cached copy, backup, previously accessed copy, or a copy independently saved by another person before removal.
15. How 514PASS Reviews Requests
When we receive a sufficiently detailed complaint or removal request, we may review the content identified, the information you provide, information available within 514PASS, information from the uploader or creator where appropriate, our other policies, and applicable law.
We may ask you for additional information if reasonably necessary.
We do not promise that every request results in removal, a specific review time, or that 514PASS independently adjudicates ownership or legal rights like a court — see Section 21.
16. Possible Actions
Where supported by our current systems and appropriate to the circumstances, possible actions may include:
- restricting access to content
- asking the uploader or creator to remove content
- creator self-removal
- restricting creator features
- restricting account access
- suspending or terminating an account, where available
- taking other action required by applicable law
514PASS staff can remove LIVE chat messages and comments, and can suspend or ban accounts. 514PASS does not currently have dedicated admin tooling to directly delete a post or remove media from another creator's account. Where direct removal is not currently supported by our tooling, we may instead ask the uploader or creator to remove the content, or take another action available to us, to the extent technically and legally possible.
17. No Automatic Takedown System
514PASS does not operate automatic copyright detection, Content ID–style matching, perceptual hashing, automated copyright matching, automatic takedown, AI copyright moderation, or automated re-upload prevention. A complaint does not automatically mean content is infringing — 514PASS may review the circumstances as described in Section 15.
18. Mistaken or Disputed Complaints
514PASS does not currently operate a formal statutory counter-notice process. If content is restricted, or a complaint is raised against your content, and you believe the complaint is mistaken, you may contact [email protected] with relevant information for review.
We do not guarantee restoration of any restricted content.
19. False or Abusive Complaints
You must not:
- knowingly claim ownership of content you do not own
- intentionally submit false information in a complaint
- use copyright complaints to harass a creator
- repeatedly submit bad-faith removal requests
A complaint found to be false or abusive may result in action against the account that submitted it, to the extent supported by our current systems, consistent with our Terms of Service.
20. Repeat or Serious Violations
Repeated or serious infringement, or repeated unauthorized-content violations, may result in additional action under our other policies, to the extent supported by our current systems:
- our Terms of Service
- our Creator Terms
- our Acceptable Content Policy
We do not currently operate a fixed strike count, an automatic repeat-infringer ban, or automatic permanent termination.
21. No Final Legal Determination
514PASS's review of a complaint or removal request is a platform moderation and compliance decision. It does not necessarily constitute a final legal determination of copyright ownership, infringement, privacy rights, consent, or other legal rights.
Users remain responsible for resolving disputes between themselves and for obtaining legal advice where appropriate.
22. Relationship to Other Policies
This Policy should be read together with:
- our Terms of Service
- our Creator Terms (for creators)
- our Acceptable Content Policy
- our Age & Eligibility Policy
- our Privacy Policy
- our Refund & Cancellation Policy, where relevant
In short: our Terms of Service cover general platform rules. Our Creator Terms cover creator ownership and content responsibilities. Our Acceptable Content Policy covers prohibited content and conduct. Our Age & Eligibility Policy covers our 18+ rules. Our Privacy Policy covers personal information and privacy rights. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy covers payment and refund rules, where relevant.
Where this Policy and another 514PASS policy address the same topic, we intend for them to be read consistently, not in conflict. If you believe a genuine conflict exists, contact us at [email protected].
23. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time as 514PASS evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to bring it to your attention within the platform. Continuing to use 514PASS after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
24. Contact
Copyright complaints and content removal requests can be sent to 514PASS at [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright / Content Removal Request." Questions about this Policy can be sent to the same address.
